Ben Folds Five

This is probably my all time favorite band. Period.

I took this photo myself at a concert on October 31, 1999 at Loyola College in Baltimore.

Please don't make me go into the whole "Yes, there are only three of them" thing.
Ben Folds: piano, vocals
Robert Sledge, bass, vocals
Darren Jessee, drums, vocals

The Albums

Ben Folds Five: Their first, and possibly best, album. I call it The Essential.

Whatever And Ever Amen : An amazing CD. It's probably their most commercial collection and the best one to get if you've never heard of them before. I call it The Starter.

Naked Baby Photos:A collection of live and previously unreleased tracks. Don't get it if you've never heard them before, it'll scare you. On the other hand it's a great taste of their live act. I call it The Hardcore.

The Unauthorized Biography Of Reinhold MessnerIt's wonderful. I has a lot of symphonic references. It's a concept album that works almost as one really long track, not unlike Sgt. Pepper. I call it The Masterpiece.
